Jordan Keeps Catching Missiles — But Says It’s Just Stretching

Since the Israel-Iran conflict kicked off, Jordan has become the region’s unexpected missile referee, repeatedly intercepting Iranian drones and rockets on their way to Israel. King Abdullah II insists it’s all about “protecting Jordanian airspace” — though at this point, he’s swatting missiles like he’s auditioning for Iron Dome: The Sequel.
While officially neutral, Jordan’s track record of interceptions has people wondering if Amman is doing a bit more than just minding its own skies. For a country not in the fight, Jordan sure seems to be putting in overtime — and Tel Aviv probably isn’t complaining.
