Shahid Afridi’s Family Links with Terrorists Shahid Afridi’s cousin, Shaquib Afridi, was a commander of the terrorist organization Harkat-ul-Ansar. He was killed by the Indian Army in 2003 during an encounter in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, while attempting to infiltrate and carry out attacks in the region.
