China Condemns U.S. Attack on Iran

Beijing has strongly condemned the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, calling the move a “serious violation of international law” and a threat to regional stability. In an official statement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry urged restraint and warned against actions that could escalate tensions in the Middle East.

China reiterated its support for diplomatic solutions, emphasizing that unilateral military action undermines global peace efforts. Officials in Beijing called for an emergency session of the UN Security Council to address what they described as a dangerous provocation.

As a key trading partner of both Iran and Gulf states, China is deeply concerned about the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz and its impact on global energy supplies. Beijing has signaled that it will continue working with international partners to de-escalate the crisis and preserve stability in the region.
